Ocean City Seafood Restaurant

Food photography, logo design then layout of the restaurant menu. 3 projects rolled into one package. Took us a while to finish and its finally done. We’re quite happy of the output, its always nice to work projects as a package. I guess this project simply shows the true capacity of the studio in handling different aspects of the work.

After we were done with the photography side… off to design a new logo for the restuarant. The having finished that, we finalized the new menu layout with our own photos of the food.

We can’t wait to see the final printed menu when we will have dinner in the restuarant. Will post about that soon…

Godchild, an iloilo-based quintet took their name from a miles davis original reflecting their interest in blues/jazzy tunes.

their aesthetic outlook was also influenced by multiple genres of music from soul, down-tempo, indie, bossa, blues, rock, acidjazz, funk, and fusion.

constant experimenting, flirting with the old and new and arbitrary play of sound has given many births to songs that have emotionally-driven lyrical contents and harmony that spells CONSONANCE.

music is a vast expanse of a boundless space and godchild is just another ball of gas and dust like the rest. But the band would love to believe that they emit a special kind of glare because of passion and… probably more than that.

“Coron is a first class municipality in the province of Palawan, Philippines. According to the 2000 census, it has a population of 32,243 people in 6,264 households.
The municipality covers part of Busuanga Island and all of the nearby Coron Island. Both islands are part of the Calamian Group of Islands in northern Palawan. The main industries of Coron are fishing and tourism, being a popular diving location.
The aquatic views from the sunken Japanese warships off Coron Island are listed in Forbes Traveler Magazine’s top 10 best scuba diving sites in the world.”

The Dinagyang is a religious and cultural festival in Iloilo City, Philippines held on the fourth Sunday of January, or right after the Sinulog In Cebu and the Ati-Atihan in Aklan. It is held both to honor the Santo Niño and to celebrate the arrival on Panay of Malay settlers and the subsequent selling of the island to them by the Atis.

Today, the main part of the festival consists of a number of “tribes”, called “tribus”, who are supposed to be Ati tribe members dancing in celebration. There are a number of requirements, including that the performers must paint their skin brown and that only indigenous materials can be used for the costumes. All dances are performed to drum music. Many tribes are organized by the local high schools. Some tribes receive a subsidiary from the organizers and recruit private sponsors, with the best tribes receiving the most. The current Ati population of Iloilo is not involved with any of the tribes nor are they involved in the festival in any other way.

The 2nd Dinagyang Longboard Event kicks off 2 days before the main Dinagyang Festival. More than 30+ riders from different parts of the Philippines partake in the 1.8km downhill race held at the hills of Brgy. Aripdip, San Rafael, Iloilo.

The Ati-Atihan Festival is a feast held annually in January in honor of the Santo Niño (Infant Jesus), concluding on the third Sunday, in the island and town of Kalibo, Aklan in the Philippines.

The festival consists of tribal dance, music, accompanied by indigenous costumes and weapons, and parade along the street. Christians, and non-Christians observe this day with religious processions.

The people attend masses for the Santo Niño, and benefit dances sponsored by government organizations. The formal opening mass emphasizes the festival’s religious event. The procession begins with a rhythmic drumbeats, and dances parading along the street. The second day begins at dawn with a rosary procession, which ends with a community mass, and procession. The highlight of the festival occurs on the last day, when groups representing different tribes compete. The festival ends with a procession of priest carrying torches, and different kinds of images of the Santo Niño.
